The Pokémon Company has revealed Mega Malamar for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, launching October 16, 2025 on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. It’s the 52nd Mega Evolution and a major upgrade to the Dark/Psychic mind-bender, now able to overwrite personalities and memories with blinding psychic light. The reveal includes an in-universe Lumiose City news blitz and hints at tricky trainer control.
