I’ve been busy. So busy that I haven’t checked out the sales. I felt very sorry for myself when I realised that. So I hit the Zara online sale.

And I hit it hard. I ordered 16 items and picked them up from the store in one huge box. I couldn’t wait to get home for a fashion show. 2 tops didn’t even get shortlisted for trying on, they looked nothing like they did in the online photos. Only 5 pieces made the ‘definite’ pile – a jacket, 2 tops and 2 shorts. Another top is a ‘maybe’. It’s nice but it’s lace and I don’t know if I like it enough to hunt for a top exactly the same colour to wear underneath. Another top and a dress might get ordered in different sizes, I’ll try them on again then decide.

But I had fun and I have new clothes.
